Duties and Responsibilities:

* `7 t: n4 r: ]6 m6 j n - Develop database structure/code (packages, procedures, functions, etc) for the application as required.8 g7 O% c8 h5 [% m6 ^" _( r" p+ e3 u
- Establish and communicate data management processes and procedures.
. ?4 B5 o- ^; I5 b6 H# e - Support developers in resolving technical problems.6 j: J( v& m0 m( A% A
- Manage a technically complex and ambiguous environment.
) x0 Q0 e, _1 e" h. A V2 V - Exploit the advantages of new and old technologies alike.
4 ~- c( k+ m' {% t - Analyze, define, design, and propose solutions to business problems at the highest level.6 u5 R/ u$ g9 y' {+ A
- Advise on how to plan, organize, and provide technical control for the computing resources that are required in the development of system solutions.. y! R0 f4 V* l3 \% {, H1 g! D. D
- Establish and communicate how to implement technologies and decisions.: j9 f: ]( X/ |. f
- Coordinate efforts, exploit technology, and use business logic to manage IT projects.; n: C+ Y S8 @! w! `- v- L5 |! K5 ?
- Consult with other application groups on database design, query and transaction optimization, and security. ' W$ y) Z4 z7 I- e' s: t
- Provide backup support and supervision for the team manager as necessary.: x9 q3 k8 I0 c9 Z0 s7 @& @
- Provide leadership and mentoring to more intermediate and junior developers, transferring domain and technical knowledge;

Experience & Knowledge:
$ ^$ a0 \4 W4 N- W, }) _
- }' n& q+ y, G2 @( h8 J7 i' G . X. o4 l+ _' ]7 H5 J
2 ^& y7 X* G! D, O
# W7 t) X0 G: l; p- P6 n4 P
- Degree in Computer Science, Applied Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years design/programming experience with relational databases;
. A/ B+ s7 E2 o6 x/ @5 r - 5+ years developing against relational database (MsSQL Server 2000 & 2005);
- D6 {! ?# o L! K - 3+ Years developing integration solutions using Microsoft Biztalk 2004/2006 (BizTalk 2006 is an asset);2 y$ Q. s' c* Z% A
- Expert in SSIS/DTS Skills Required, as well as, experience developing and tuning high performance, secure scalable and reliable business systems;
6 i! g0 F0 ]0 Z; F - Expert in Web Services, XSD schemas and in BizTalk Orchestration / Mapping tools;
; B; F" ^6 O5 p" [ - Experience in using BizTalk for SOA / ESB solutions

- Abstract and Analytical thought
