Canscene's client is hiring two experienced Chartered Accountants.

Our client is conveniently located in the Montreal area. The starting rate of pay is based on experience. The typical working hours are 9am until 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities: ' J, ?2 w7 a$ I* m8 W) n6 x
- Prepare and review corporate working paper files (review & audit engagements) in a wide variety of industries including the preparation of financial statements;
) `' n* a% D# U, C5 ^- Analyze key variances and monitor progress of action plans to improve results and strategically operate the business, and providing professional opinions in regards to the fiscal decisions of the firm;% d$ K# i( l- r" }( z
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities consistent with the existing beliefs of the firm;
: S4 {' d8 m" S- Effectively manage client relationships.7 [4 P, b8 B6 p5 L
" _/ Y5 o. N9 o, J, x% I4 |1 @Qualifications:
+ E- | O0 j2 Q) G. a- Must have their Chartered Professional Designation with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
$ Q B0 a" U7 w) u* k; H q2 d2 x) G- Strong technical and analytical skills in areas of accounting, tax, audit and general business;
7 `9 r% ^3 V, g" V- Strong knowledge of internal controls;
: a( x6 j' O Q" u* B5 \3 z4 l8 a- Possess initiative, integrity and a strong work ethic
) L- m" E2 G k- Attention to detail, accuracy is important
: V; j: T" S+ v4 G9 x- Excellent communications skills with the ability to work well with clients and motivate/develop staff;8 ?/ x0 B- ^( C0 q
- Be able to develop client relationships and have a desire to contribute to the overall improvement of client companies.2 c* @* n) y& U- w& X" b" r3 D/ m
