Reporting to the Mandarin Team Lead, the Mandarin Editorial Translator is responsible for translating the SSENSE editorial content and marketing assets as needed. As part of the Copy and Translation team, he/she will ensure that all content in Mandarin is consistent with SSENSE guidelines. The ideal candidate possesses an excellent command of Simplified Chinese, meticulous attention to detail, and a keen interest in fashion. 9 t, h2 W* Z( _- o1 m 5 _) k: I6 D/ v, f. dRESPONSIBILITIES 4 l6 t& u! N* @. @# b- @! n' ~# I+ oTranslate all editorial content (articles, interviews, etc.) from English to Simplified Chinese) i& h) b" o# T* e
Translate various marketing assets from English to Simplified Chinese as needed! q& [ t( ]8 O( G
Provide support to the e-commerce technical translation team! f# D! y& S) l! O# n+ k( S8 g: t
Assist in redefining the SSENSE guidelines as needed# X4 r) |8 a' J
Maintain rigorous standards of quality control and adherence to SSENSE editorial guidelines + v4 A2 V2 B+ A$ A8 iAchieve KPIs including target numbers of translated creative assets * |4 l, A3 m8 _( v! {/ MInitiate, plan and execute continuous improvement projects* S$ D# r: }9 y' E* t' G8 u
Provide support with various translation tasks for the studio, creative or other departments as required% ~0 K' E4 }/ t# x; s4 n

+ _, ~8 X: d9 ^REQUIREMENTS : Y5 h1 q- F- r7 DBachelor’s degree in Translation or related experience with a focus on literary translation5 E( C+ I% l) j$ ?/ Y. n# R, k
A minimum of 5 years experience in English-Mandarin translation and adaptation, ideally in an agency or as part of a team of editors/translators in a high-volume publishing environment: R' _" e2 C7 \7 l! P" e, Q: S6 h
