我认为留学生和移民是身份的不同,在医疗等的福利制度上的不同,可能移民免费的你就要自费,但它对你的要求还是会受理的,至少他们会给你建议

刚发现怀了,想约一个victoria的医生, when I called the royal victoria hospital 妇产科医生电话 843-1603

The person who answered the phone asked me "are you pregnant", "how long r u pregnant" and told me "we dont have more room to take new patients"

I have 2 questions :

1. can docotor refuse taking pregnant patients?
2. if they dont have more room, why the person asked the questions above before telling me they dont take new ones? she can just tell me that without asking any questions... Is there some rules that they pick patients?

我觉得问这几个问题是很正常的。问你是否怀孕，怀孕多久，她是帮查一下等你到了12周（一般医生都是等你满了12周再开始帮你检查）需要开始检查时，医生手里的产妇是否有已经生产的，然后就能确定是否能接收新的孕妇。有的秘书会直接告诉你这个医生到大约什么时间可以接受新的病人了，算一下你是否能等得及，等不及就另外找别的医生。有的比较好的秘书还会推荐别的医生给你，让你去联系。
不用太担心，不行再联系别的医生吧。

我第一次检查是8周的时候, 我可以给你我的OB号码, 他是st-mary的, 不知道他收不收新病人, 只知道最近他很propular, 每次去很多人! you can check your PM for the number.
