The position is responsible for alloperational IT tasks required to maintain a mid-size network of servers andservices, and provide leadership for the team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.
  
• Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)
  2 I0 l. g  L* R/ G# m) w; F
• Managing virtual servers and clustering, shared storage
  
• Monitoring of servers and processes
  
• Managing of Microsoft Active Directory.

• Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support
  
• Implementing best security practices
  
• Troubleshooting server/workstation issues
  
• Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning
    k2 U# C( Q7 f5 c; V5 u( S
• Manage SSL certificates
  ( S$ d' M  j0 w/ G" L) z6 `
• Manage load balancers for server farms
  0 e2 ?! @5 t7 e" n9 h" `! G5 G( B
• IT architecture design and decisions

Qualifications:

7 E5 e9 w" e' D' A
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux in a business environment
  6 h3 ?! k. z" R9 p7 {2 G! I
• Advanced knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS, Debian, RHEL)
  6 D( I4 n2 X7 [& Q
• Advanced knowledge of services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP
  
• Advanced knowledge of in firewalls, VPN and networking.
  
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
  
• Advanced knowledge of Postfix/Dovecot/Sieve mail server
  ( |: n- T; L( P2 w& }6 k# X
• Advanced knowledge of Postfix Office365 migration
  * T# `! H2 f+ @: y: I/ P9 _; k
• Advanced knowledge of SAN/NAS (Dell Compellent, QNAP)
  
• Advanced knowledge of Xen & VMWare virtual clustering environment an asset.
    \4 ?* d3 ^2 R# K6 ]/ Y4 I
• Advanced understanding of IT architectures and technologies
  
• Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, PowerShell)
  
• Good experience with Nagios, Icinga, CACTI and Zabbix monitoring systems

• Good experience with Microsoft Active directory
  
• 
  $ `+ G" `' S: K0 d) B
  • Good experience with Maria DB, MYSQL and Galera clustering.
  • Knowledge of Oracle infrastructure
  • Experience with F5, PFsense, OpenVPN is considered an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong team leadership.
  • Good skills at writing documentation and diagrams
  • Spanish an asset
