The position is responsible for alloperational IT tasks required to maintain a mid-size network of servers andservices, and provide leadership for the team.

Responsibilities:

Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.( y& U9 Y6 b9 j, L
Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)( z& X/ r+ a8 m+ q# S9 P0 r
Managing virtual servers and clustering, shared storage' D- d9 G# I G4 [0 ?
Monitoring of servers and processes

Managing of Microsoft Active Directory.. `% o0 l3 b$ f+ Y- P& @7 B
Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support2 B, ~' B( y" w3 h' ~/ ?
Implementing best security practices# c* k3 p) ]( y7 ^% C2 Z
Troubleshooting server/workstation issues

Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning2 h6 R+ o0 n8 |2 Q1 _
Manage SSL certificates; `% Y/ y' }5 O5 O
Manage load balancers for server farms

IT architecture design and decisions

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux in a business environment
& a6 u5 G# m7 U8 a) x9 t% T* Q
Advanced knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS, Debian, RHEL)& y+ o$ k8 t& j0 R5 k
Advanced knowledge of services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP
! d d. ~8 r0 ~2 m1 ~
Advanced knowledge of in firewalls, VPN and networking.2 o U1 `" X( ^
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
+ `3 U( f1 }, S- I0 W4 y3 L, ^
Advanced knowledge of Postfix/Dovecot/Sieve mail server# v# e4 |! h4 R3 l* ?" [
Advanced knowledge of Postfix Office365 migration
) ?3 D& R1 _1 d
Advanced knowledge of SAN/NAS (Dell Compellent, QNAP): A" l7 \. D1 ?" Q- M& b3 Q
Advanced knowledge of Xen & VMWare virtual clustering environment an asset./ }% m, p! ]2 s- b
Advanced understanding of IT architectures and technologies

Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, PowerShell)

Good experience with Nagios, Icinga, CACTI and Zabbix monitoring systems : }$ q% Q0 [$ ^- z' [2 r; M1 H
Good experience with Microsoft Active directory

- Good experience with Maria DB, MYSQL and Galera clustering.
- Knowledge of Oracle infrastructure
- Experience with F5, PFsense, OpenVPN is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written.
- Strong team leadership.
- Good skills at writing documentation and diagrams
