The position is responsible for alloperational IT tasks required to maintain a mid-size network of servers andservices, and provide leadership for the team.

Responsibilities:

Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.

Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)

Managing virtual servers and clustering, shared storage6 ~9 B" I b5 Q( t. l
Monitoring of servers and processes
7 V6 u7 ]8 s0 s: K$ T# Q7 E
Managing of Microsoft Active Directory.2 l g5 w: x6 U' s- p% H6 q4 j0 L+ }
Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support8 s2 A, ]2 w/ J$ h4 ~
Implementing best security practices

Troubleshooting server/workstation issues& }8 |% d. j, u- L
Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning6 F/ n0 @4 i% z8 j8 `% n
Manage SSL certificates

Manage load balancers for server farms4 J! c. E- ?8 D0 {. U; p
IT architecture design and decisions

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux in a business environment: z0 u: w4 m* e' S, _
Advanced knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS, Debian, RHEL)$ B) y) a) m7 F0 J9 P* ^7 x! n
Advanced knowledge of services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP
# O" {# r8 M& X/ \6 p2 y J
Advanced knowledge of in firewalls, VPN and networking." A# ?+ W3 W) @: K6 l
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols

Advanced knowledge of Postfix/Dovecot/Sieve mail server

Advanced knowledge of Postfix Office365 migration4 n7 D/ M3 P/ U- g6 |
Advanced knowledge of SAN/NAS (Dell Compellent, QNAP)% l# ~* g, U: I1 W% M& i7 v
Advanced knowledge of Xen & VMWare virtual clustering environment an asset.

Advanced understanding of IT architectures and technologies( y* h8 |& |7 F: R& k% `
Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, PowerShell)

Good experience with Nagios, Icinga, CACTI and Zabbix monitoring systems A N l0 {5 o0 u5 G9 [
Good experience with Microsoft Active directory 1 N- b( T" u2 X. z5 `# \0 ~2 v

- Good experience with Maria DB, MYSQL and Galera clustering.
- Knowledge of Oracle infrastructure
- Experience with F5, PFsense, OpenVPN is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written.
- Strong team leadership.
- Good skills at writing documentation and diagrams
- Spanish an asset
