The position is responsible for alloperational IT tasks required to maintain a mid-size network of servers andservices, and provide leadership for the team.

Responsibilities:

Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.3 K7 i( c% ]& O, t9 _9 v
Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)
) s5 }8 V1 T+ n& N) q" E. N! @
Managing virtual servers and clustering, shared storage

Monitoring of servers and processes; r3 a7 L! p% \* Z3 {3 _" J7 O, t
Managing of Microsoft Active Directory.

Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support

Implementing best security practices

Troubleshooting server/workstation issues

Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning

Manage load balancers for server farms

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux in a business environment
, v9 T' N7 Q- z- A2 g w
Advanced knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS, Debian, RHEL)3 G( T! }+ d: @( B
Advanced knowledge of services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP
, c# I- N7 H; ~1 i- ^/ G E
Advanced knowledge of in firewalls, VPN and networking.
$ }& r0 C* m8 P# |$ U( S, D8 F
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
, m& C: {! Z+ o6 U# L: m
Advanced knowledge of Postfix/Dovecot/Sieve mail server& x8 d2 g( [. d1 B, p
Advanced knowledge of Postfix Office365 migration
. R" J# L$ I7 ^# x+ h7 R# k9 ^
Advanced knowledge of SAN/NAS (Dell Compellent, QNAP)

Advanced knowledge of Xen & VMWare virtual clustering environment an asset.

Advanced understanding of IT architectures and technologies2 v$ j' g4 A, H$ K( B" z
Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, PowerShell)

Good experience with Nagios, Icinga, CACTI and Zabbix monitoring systems 5 d: r, W! x* {; s$ m6 p
Good experience with Microsoft Active directory 4 U( O! ^' c; h" `

- Good experience with Maria DB, MYSQL and Galera clustering.
- Knowledge of Oracle infrastructure
- Experience with F5, PFsense, OpenVPN is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written.
- Strong team leadership.
- Good skills at writing documentation and diagrams
