Freight Forwarder Operations

Basic Requirement:

Minimum 2-3yearsrelated experience in freight forwarding operations, customer service or insidesales;

CIFFA certification in freight forwarding, Dangerous Cargohandling, Air cargo handling, etc. is a definite asset;

Knowledge of air/ocean mode of freight transportation in aninternational environment is a must;

Air/Ocean Export experiences is highly preferred;

Handling of consolidation, and inland trucking experience isexpected;

Customer service, rate quote experience in a forwarderorganization is preferred;

We would like candidates:

Be proactive, considerate, and passionate to serve the customer;

Be willing to learn with strong self-driven motivation;

Be interested in, caring about, and quickly responsive forcustomer’s logistics demands;

Be Computer literate with strong research skills, take advantageof internet resources;

Be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Email;

To have logistics experiences in Asian market, be able tocommunicate with partners in Mandarin or other Eastern Asian language is anasset but not mandatory;

Be able to working in a team environment under supervision;

Must be able to communicate in Bilingual English / French, andunderstanding Chinese will be an extra asset expected.
