Position Title: Project Manager

Location: downtown Montreal

Reports To: General Manager, JC (Canada)

Primary Responsibilities:

· Support the GM to plan and implement business milestones with objectives of completing mergers and/or acquisitions, collaborations and/or transactions.

· In charge of managing investment projects from A to Z in the following industries such as culture, entertainment, education and finance etc.

· Establish initial contact and communications with targeted potential collaborators/business partners.

· Analyze and pre-select feasible investment projects with high potential and provide advice and/or reports to the GM on investment opportunities with suggestions and action plan.

· Conduct due diligence when needed for highly potential targeted companies.

· Make presentation on behalf of the company for business collaborations and investment opportunities.

· Responsible for the consistent follow-up for existing and new investment projects.

· Review the progress with GM on a monthly basis.

· Responsible for producing reports by providing on-going status of the investment projects.

· Manage all project functions related to project management such as schedule, budget and risk management to meet the projects’ goals.

· Enhance relationship with relevant industries, institutions and government; attend industrial conferences and events when needed.

· Develop and foster collaborative internal and external working relationships with effective and on-going communications.

· Help the company by providing professional advice and assistance in his/her area of expertise.

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and conduct other tasks mandated by the GM.

Requirements and Core Competencies:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Law etc. MBA is required.

· 3-5 years of investment management experience with solid knowledge of project structure

in a client/consultant/vendor business environment

· Familiarity with the Canadian investment procedures, rules and regulations.

· Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

· Efficient with strong analytical, planning and execution skills.

· Ethical business behavior and high level of professionalism

· Excellent communication skills in both English and French (and mandarin as an asset)

· Strong teamwork spirit with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and demanding deadlines.
