Inbound Technical Support Tier-1 Tier-2
Altima Telecom is one of the leading telecommunications company proving the best Internet, IP phone and IPTV services in Canada. We are currently seeking a technically strong and people oriented, adaptable and skillful team player to fulfill one of our Technical Support positions.
Job Description:
The responsibilities in this position are:
-To assist clients with their requests and issues related to our services by gathering the customer’s information and determining the main issues, analyzing the symptoms and finding the underlying problem.
-To resolve issues on the first call or escalate and manage tickets when required.
-To follow up with technical problems when required.
Part of these tasks will be - Modem/ Router Configuration, remote access to resolve problems, verifying installation and signal over the phone.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary, GED or higher
- customer service experience in Telecom industry is a must with a minimum of 6 months.
- Technical support experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Detail oriented and Organized.
- Dynamic and adaptable.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
- Ability to work in a computerized and constantly changing environment.
- Good command of English, and French spoken and written, other languages are an asset.
- Knowledge of modem configuration (DSL, CABLE, VOIP, and IPTV) is an asset.
