Responsibilities:

; p/ m8 Q; _/ b* @ - Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.8 t5 ] \5 A5 @/ \5 @
- Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)
5 j J* {- a$ L$ X w8 A - Managing virtual servers
. D/ a7 t3 W0 G - Monitoring of servers and processes 7 F! P% t7 x1 e( A/ F
- Managing of Micro Soft Active Directory accounts.6 K% Z9 [5 C0 A1 P/ h
- Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support
3 ]* H& n' z) P/ l' u7 i6 X - Implementing best security practices% l' j2 h7 L( s2 J" \; K: f
- Troubleshooting server/workstation issues2 o% n( U) _) @# F
- Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning
+ c6 K, ], a) |) R5 ^# S - IT architecture design and decisions+ ^+ H. |5 \. X. ^$ N5 `, k
) w! ?: @3 p/ V& v! g

Qualifications:
0 n" P3 F# w4 e* h# l9 ^# b) r- H# L- g; V. k
- 3-5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux, S2 ^, m. [% f/ W# w) n% L2 [
- Knowledge of related services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP
( h6 N2 r1 K# }( y4 ^ - Knowledge of Linux based firewalls and networking2 z5 e- @& O' W' t7 x- l, O
- Experience with Micro Soft Active directory and Micro Soft SQL
6 `: G0 j( o' e- {4 I' L - Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
3 J( m( ^7 D5 F0 t" E. P* r - Scripting experience (Bash, Perl)
: e& R8 c7 p& o& j - Knowledge of SAN/NAS an asset(Dell Compellent, QNAP)2 N, {2 T! c) G4 d: a
- Knowledge of Xen virtual clustering environment an asset.
4 e. `% ^, Y2 P1 U7 M - Broad understanding of IT architectures and technologies
* F9 H' b! w; _$ l5 ? - Good interpersonal communications skills and a strong team player
7 z) _, F* _( l: ?% v9 x - Good skills at writing documentation
( Q$ p+ [6 E3 N( w - Good verbal and written communications skills
