The position is responsible for all operational IT tasksrequired to maintain a mid-size network of servers.

Responsibilities:

. z& E a% `! W+ h - Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.1 _" g1 @* x; m* I# k# V7 J) A# C
- Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)# e- m! H1 `4 ?: [9 o. P
- Managing virtual servers7 h; g8 a' i2 O7 G3 u+ T
- Monitoring of servers and processes 2 W9 t2 c3 i) n/ L a8 M
- Managing of Micro Soft Active Directory accounts./ X1 e; R& m4 |! ^, T/ } B6 x
- Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support
" t" T- D$ |9 Q' a; z - Implementing best security practices
0 d+ u$ w7 b9 b" I& M7 [6 ^ - Troubleshooting server/workstation issues0 Q5 D0 w% ]& n8 j+ s
- Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning- G4 O2 D1 H r5 @# E# s) z
- IT architecture design and decisions; L4 Q. |; B# K2 }

Qualifications:
/ q. q% g" n1 s8 |2 j0 ?# ~
d1 H; q) V8 h8 }* j6 L$ n - 3-5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux% k& L# K7 {& D2 |
- Knowledge of related services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP; P) `+ a- ? j# Y h
- Knowledge of Linux based firewalls and networking
# a( l2 G8 \1 y1 {; F- H& {& } - Experience with Micro Soft Active directory and Micro Soft SQL9 a% I4 h) R' @) Y- ^
- Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
6 d1 a9 J* P; b: { - Scripting experience (Bash, Perl)" N3 ^; q" U7 [
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS an asset(Dell Compellent, QNAP)
& |8 m' j. n: J! s - Knowledge of Xen virtual clustering environment an asset.$ H2 r- _+ T7 I5 \# [# J6 @& a
- Broad understanding of IT architectures and technologies/ E' r) Y9 ?, | `% g/ U
- Good interpersonal communications skills and a strong team player
! G) H h: H/ h9 |* @. A5 S - Good skills at writing documentation
: d Q$ h9 [4 m* ]1 ~) j3 n/ \* ^ - Good verbal and written communications skills! y% T# T3 e$ v# w# c$ a" H
- Spanish an asset
