$ O3 J/ |! U6 ]The position is responsible for all operational IT tasksrequired to maintain a mid-size network of servers.

Responsibilities:
# N3 n- J& `3 [) m/ U/ }5 g$ W3 e" ^9 j6 j' X2 O2 g
- Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.
; _2 J6 U9 e* i* f6 j - Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)
b5 H& g% C7 T - Managing virtual servers3 p/ A. i7 O0 @0 f: l3 _+ l
- Monitoring of servers and processes
' U, v7 Y/ l. T% o; s - Managing of Micro Soft Active Directory accounts.+ s) k; t' _- G! L, \# {& ]6 r# u; T
- Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support1 `8 z8 S# o6 y# p: }, O8 ] ^
- Implementing best security practices" ?+ f0 r, G# t; ^# Q M7 `( w1 S
- Troubleshooting server/workstation issues
; o, p. g- w$ R9 o - Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning5 e* y. \: o8 a6 R$ A1 r. h |
- IT architecture design and decisions
, u& B7 ]7 J+ ~6 }8 B; ]

Qualifications:
- @# a( j( L# {+ A$ Y. Y' c7 O" F. ]+ z5 H! y/ a5 K _
- 3-5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux- ~! S0 v+ l+ s/ f# a* F/ z$ V B
- Knowledge of related services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP
: N% P2 K0 I" z, U% [/ h0 O4 _ - Knowledge of Linux based firewalls and networking
% _2 b8 i, F& h/ {5 _2 J9 l - Experience with Micro Soft Active directory and Micro Soft SQL
; T- C3 D( e+ a$ Q8 w) b - Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols7 R% s6 w1 D r" ?3 p+ V# o: J
- Scripting experience (Bash, Perl)7 e8 Q/ X+ b1 X! T4 i# K8 }. a2 R
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS an asset(Dell Compellent, QNAP)
- S" ^4 ?1 \: Y" ]% t - Knowledge of Xen virtual clustering environment an asset. D5 t, s* I1 V- U3 J
- Broad understanding of IT architectures and technologies, F+ l! a' A( G5 S5 s5 T& \7 O: w
- Good interpersonal communications skills and a strong team player
7 [2 I# d* D, G4 J) ~4 ~; v5 U - Good skills at writing documentation/ v2 K" X* R! ]3 V# L0 K& Z. @
- Good verbal and written communications skills
