Responsibilities:

- Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.0 X, ~# N3 X ^( G3 Y7 ]: P& f0 p
- Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)
( R' e) m3 A7 O - Managing virtual servers' ~% c3 u ~% L# H6 r0 Z# ]& W
- Monitoring of servers and processes 7 D" v! t. E$ F9 S6 ]( n+ o
- Managing of Micro Soft Active Directory accounts.
& K/ C" N, o5 c4 Y! N; x3 u - Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support
% C8 X$ P/ p, N' E9 q( e" | - Implementing best security practices0 _3 |3 Z, i$ `+ E' B4 ^8 e
- Troubleshooting server/workstation issues$ N F- `! O& l' d
- Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning
1 E* @5 v( X1 v+ y0 B' T. Q - IT architecture design and decisions

Qualifications:
7 D: v6 ^( C. C, n- e) U0 m% ~
" {* c; {1 E/ F3 R8 N* W - 3-5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux
4 L$ H$ B4 ` m$ W - Knowledge of related services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP+ \( l* r2 D- ?. E
- Knowledge of Linux based firewalls and networking! I7 a6 z* U" _
- Experience with Micro Soft Active directory and Micro Soft SQL
8 y' S. \8 f1 j2 j- \' Y+ F - Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
+ v' b/ e* l% P3 ?9 h - Scripting experience (Bash, Perl)% O/ S, l! L5 b4 \2 R9 G0 H( L
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS an asset(Dell Compellent, QNAP)( f) o2 z1 _4 D8 @. r# r
- Knowledge of Xen virtual clustering environment an asset.
. a' b& S/ h& o! ~# } - Broad understanding of IT architectures and technologies; l6 K n. Z$ U6 V& w
- Good interpersonal communications skills and a strong team player
