Despite his young age, Zouheir Boumahdi, who turned 18 last February, already had a pretty extensive criminal record.
Just a few weeks ago, the guy from Laval had been sentenced to an 18-month probation and 125 hours of community service in a case of possession of criminally obtained property and obstruction of police work.
But that's not all: he was awaiting three separate trials; one in a case of domestic violence, a second for assault, armed robbery, death threats, armed assault on a peace officer and obstruction of police work, and finally, a last one he was supposed to face before the Youth Court.
