谢谢大家的讨论. 可以肯定这里不能 U TURN. QC的解答是对的.

结论是: 如果有POSTED SIGN (本例子中那个只许直行和左转的牌子), 即使没有禁止U TURN的牌子, 也不可U TURN.

"U" Turns at intersections and between intersections

The  "U"- turn can be considered a violation as described in article 310 of  the Highway Safety Code, which stipulates that all drivers must obey  posted signs. A driver cannot do a U-turn at an intersection where a  sign prohibits it or on a road marked with a solid line since it is  prohibited to cross such a line. On the other hand, the "U"- turn is  authorized at intersections where there is no sign prohibiting it.

那么禁止U TURN的牌子用在何处呢? 一个只有红绿灯的十字路口可以直行,左右转,和U TURN. 如果只允许直行和左右转的话就加上一个禁止U TURN牌.

没明白你是怎么得出这个结论的，根据上面的英语应该是在有禁令标志的路口和直线马路上是禁止掉头，其他情况都是可以掉头的。看来得问问3DVRD吧。

说的对。虽然没有告诉你不能U-Turn，但图标告诉你只能直行和左转。

如果去上庭，我希望法官能把罚金撤销，然后让LZ重新学一次教规

这样比罚钱扣分更惨，虽然能治本但也太残忍了

题外话，今天在saint Dennis看到一辆车闯红灯强行左拐。事情是这样的

saint dennis有很长一段是直线和右拐的绿圈标志（也就是不能左拐，有时间限制），这辆车停在路口想左拐，后面被堵的车不断滴他，对面车道的车也不断驶来，他想拐也拐不了，无奈之下只能继续往前走，第二个路口也是这样，停下来却被滴着只好往前走，后面堵了好几辆车，不滴他才怪。到了第三个路口遇红灯停下来，他排在最前看到横路的车都没有了，趁着还是红灯，对面车道的车还没有启动，他顶着红灯，再违反只能直行或右拐的标志，硬生生的往左拐去。服了，如果那时有警察。。。

在只允许直行or/and左or右转的路口，排除了准许掉头的可能，为什么还要多此一举立一个禁止掉头的牌呢？——楼主朋友可以想下这个逻辑

你可能是不明白这句话：On the other hand, the "U"- turn is authorized at intersections where there is no sign prohibiting it.

前面QC已经解释过，圆圈内一个直行箭头和左转箭头的交通标志，就是prohibiting “U”-turn。明白了吗？

这位朋友,我上边已经给出例子了:

感觉不是这么简单。

如果没有这个不让进入的地铁站，很可能就不会有这个直行或左转的牌子。能否U-Turn和这个地铁站应该没有关系。

在有的地方，U-Turn被当成一种特殊的左转。我个人甚至认为，有的路口，不可以左转，但可以做U-Turn。

你不妨上法庭，输了由我付罚单及相关的费用，赢了你请客。:cool:

我觉得这种说法很费解，但并不是第一次听到，也是我很想弄明白的一个问题，烦请3D教练拿出有力论据。
