我起草了一份通告, 不知道你们有什么意见? 还需要翻译成较正式的英法文. 另外, 不知道是各栋张贴好, 还是塞到各自信箱好?  另外也可以起草抗议信, 还需要大家帮忙收集签名.

时间飞过, 需要抓紧. 我们现在迫切需要一个比较有多空余时间的组织者. 就保险涨幅问题, 是否有哪位可以联系那些"房客委员会"或华人服务部的律师顾问, 了解一下情况.

各位CRV房客,

最近许多住户陆续收到RENTAL BOARD的关于2003-2004房租涨幅的裁决信, 许多人输掉官司, 并被要求赔给CRV$44官司费.

你们对CRV的涨幅和REANTAL BOARD的判决满意吗? 你们觉得整个诉讼程序合理吗?

如果回答是”不”, 让我们一起行动来表达我们的心声.

请在以下选项勾出你的意愿:

(1) 游行抗议 (2) 联名投诉  (3) 联合上诉

我们的意见是:
(1) 质疑CRV涨幅的根据
(2) 对RENTAL BOARD完全没有保护房客的利益感到严重失望

从我的经验和我亲身经历，租屋法庭一般都比较注意租户的利益而不是房东的利益；然这个案例实在出乎意外，况且牵涉的面又那么广。。。你对这些案件了解的怎么样？你对法律条款相当熟悉，能否帮他们找找相应的法律条款？

我以为，联名签名投诉较个人投诉的效果要好；由于租屋纠纷不像其它民事案件那么复杂，还可以联名向较有影响的新闻媒介救助。另外，由于涉及面广，不公的案例又多，大家是否探讨探讨有没有联名告租屋公司的可能性？

我有个建议，你们大家最好搞一次聚会；这样能集思广益，并有一个较好的沟通，达成共识从而找出一个较好的投诉方案。联名签名后，如有愿意为此案不公而向租屋法庭提出咨询的民众团体介入，或许会收到某些效果。

可以去阅读网站上的英文资料。很多条文都是法英对照的。不复杂。不要耽误上诉的期限。

非常谢谢，NETSINO...你给我们大家提供了很多法律方面的帮助和相当有益的建议。而我为此更是得益非浅。你其实应该成为我们海外华人正当权益的法律保护人。

非常感谢! 现在比较清楚了, 上诉期限30天. 可以要求
(1)更改(基本上计算是不会出错的)
(2)废止(不可能)
(3)复审 (某些情况或许有希望)

再有就是上法庭, (不可以是要求重新复核涨幅).

不知这种理解对不对?

但我们的情况符合哪种呢? 前3种都基本上都行不通; 上法庭质疑保险费的涨幅, 我看不容易; 如果只是告rental Board不公, 算是一个理由吗? 这需要有令人信服的证据. 不知道你感觉这些个案情, 是否有说服力? 另外看起来是可以自己辩护的, 是吗?

Dear CRV Tenants,

Recently, many tenants received the Decision from the Rental Board regarding the increase in rent. Many were required to pay more than CRVasked. Are you satisfied with this decision?  Do you feel that the legal procedure is fair for placing all the tenants together in a messy court room without giving us time to voice our opinions & respecting our privacy?  Is the Rental Board really listening to us?

If your answer is "No", then PLEASE let's gather together to express our opinion.

Please tell us what you think we should do:

            (1) Demonstration/Petition  (2) Unanimous Complaint (3) Unanimous Appeal

Our mandate is to inform Rental Board of the following:

(1) We question the legality of the increase in rent
(2) We are deeply disappointed with the Rental Board. They are not protecting the rights of the tenants.

We suggest that we have a meeting at the park at the corner of Rue Tassé & Av. O’Brien at 7:30pm on June 19, Saturday evening to discuss further action that may be taken and we invite you to come and fight together for our rights.

Etes-vous satisfait de ce verdict? Estimez-vous vraiment que la procédure  qui consiste à rassembler les locataires  dans une salle chaotique  et à leur donner un temps de parole limité,  soit juste et équitable malgré son caractère légal? La Régie du Logement nous a-t'elle vraiment entendu?

Si votre réponse est "Non", alors il est à présent temps de nous rassembler et d'exprimer enfin notre opinion.
