Many months ago, it was $60 for 2 kits at Club Price, corks and label included.  Friends told me that quality is so-so.  As I have left Montreal for a number of years, I don't have updated information.

Have called Wonder 123 a little while ago, he seems helpful.  Give him a call!

In case anyone else is interested in wine making, please post here.  If there are enough people interested in the topic, may be we could organize a wine making demonstration or something.

Reason for making wine:  Fun hobby.  Cost between $1-4 / bottle, make good presents besides enjoying it yourself.  (Most of my friends appreciate the wine at Christmas, excellent gifts that doesn't cost much.)

Thanks for the picture!  Since u make white, the lighter Club Price wine kit may be acceptable, $60 for ~56 bottles, corks and labels included.  Sauvignon Blanc I believe.

Or, you can buy a bottle of vinegar from grocery for about ($1.50) and mix with a litre Sprit ($1.50 ) , see only cost $3.00 and I bet you it will taste even better than the $4.00 wine... hehe

Ok, if you do like wine and short for money at the moment.. Here are some good red wine list for a small cost of $9.99 to $15.00.. Good wine don't usually pricy.

Solaz - Spain

now here is the scrop: Product of spain, potugal, south africa are great wine at a much lower cost, stay away from French if you have a  budget lower than $15.00.

Dear, dear, not that bad!!

Thanks for sharing the 5 good brands @ lower cost, we did managed to find a cheap Chilian merlot ~$7.50 and a few 1 litre Italian~$8.30.  Used to buy them by cases.  Much better than the local blended supermarket wines.  Unforetunately, those promotions are no longer available.  French wines are over priced now, but then NO other region can produce the complexities in French wines.

The ~$3.25-3.75 wine I've mentioned in http://www.sinoquebec.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=251835 could be good, but u really need to keep them in cold storage for 1 year.  Better than supermarket wine.  Happy drinking!

谢谢lotus8， 今天去你说的地方买到散装酒了，有十几种红白葡萄酒， 最便宜的$32/6 bottle,我买了$38的智利产红葡萄酒。 瓶子$0.65/个，木塞两块多/12个。 算下来7块多一瓶。
