今天从学校已得知的确是电脑系统出了故障，大家不用再为追缴学费的事担心了！

按照Jmsb的官方说法:
学费从今年秋天 (fall term)开始涨.

涨价原因有:
"The increased fees were set at $466.67 per credit, effective September 2001."由于政府政策原因02年降低.

"A year later, tuition fees for international students were reduced to $305.61 per credit in compliance with directives from Quebec’s Ministry of Education."
所以现在涨是正常的,而且前两年没多收你们就是你们赚的了.

"In a sense, international students have benefited from a significant, unexpected discount in the cost of their education at the John Molson School of Business during the past two years."

jmsb的学费已经是很低了.
"Furthermore, the increased tuition fees for Concordia’s undergraduate business program are lower than tuition fees charged by other Canadian business schools, such as McGill University, Queen’s University, the University of Toronto, and the University of British Columbia."

所以

本人感觉以上说法严重失理.

1.上学不是买菜,买了一次就行了.
不可否认,很多进jmsb学习(或没有选择其它学校或其它系)的原因之一就是其学费(相对)不是很高. 以(相对)低的学费把学生吸引进jmsb,然后增加学费是不合理的. dean 还称以前没有收就是unexpected benefit更是荒谬的.
无论JMSB的这种做法是否带有主观故意,其客观后果就是直接伤害了已经在JMSB学习的学生的利益.

2.把JMSB的学费和其它大学MCgill,UBC比较是没有意义的.因为众所周知这些学校本身不具可比性. 如果JMSB和MCgill同样学费,很多人是不会选JMSB的.

JMSB的留学生比例这几年的显著增加. 为什么在这个时候增加学费值得考虑.
anyway,不管增收学费最终是否成形,其做法本身可以说严重伤害了JMSB的留学生的感情.
