I am very expensive and it will cost you a lot. However I do suggest you read Lemon Aid - Used Cars. After reading that book (about $30, you will be as good as I am!

Folks: I assume that I have to pay a price for my being lazy.
As being expensive, my understanding is roughly t:

Set: V=the carrying value of the bought car, P=the total payment the buyer makes,
then:
very expensive=P>V greatly;
expensive=P>V & P< 120% V;
Cheap=P<V;
Dirt cheap=P<130% V

Anyway, I am very cheap in some sense because I cannot find a job here for my living.

If this is the alternator, then the total cost of both labor and the REBUILT alternator is between $ 350 to $450 depending on which garage does your job.

my car's water pump is broken, so the pumpe is too hot, then it burn the coolling belt. I am rookie of car ,I didn;t know this I ove my car to garge on the way my radiator got burned as well. luckly it was just 5 meters away the garage. I HOPE THIS WILL NOT DAMAGE MY ENGINE.

Your alternator and water pump both gone. How come? You just bought? Remeber I told you $500?

No matter how you feel good, it still needs fix. believe me, any car run better on highway. Don't use Carfax, which is silly.

I feel sorry seeing a Chinese fellow sitting in a 1983 Civic shacking on the road.

Car inspection is more important on the older cars - because everything could break at any time...
