可否得到政府的房补?

我刚来2个月，三口人住四个半，585/月，听说房租超过434时，可得到政府的补助，不知是否有其它条件？如何申请？请各位前辈指点。多谢了！！

$434 just for one person, you and your families are living in the apartmeny,so you cannot get the tax return for your rent.

Hi,you can apply that. the web site of info is on www.shq.gouv.qc.ca. it calls "shelter allowance"

You can apply.But you must have the Income Tax of last year.And the beginning of the application is from October.That means,at least you must live in Montreal 10 months.
