不知你是男是女，如果是女孩，那就去试一下，如果是男同志，还是省省钱吧。不过你最好要在这儿住上一年左右。

一句话,签证的基本标准就是你是否在蒙城住了一年以上,这是没写出来的签证标准,没达到这一标准,签证的成功率很低.最好你在这里一年半,那你领救济也签得出来.

STATE DEPARTMENT TEMPORARILY PROHIBITS THIRD COUNTRY PROCESSING IN MEXICO AND CANADA

The American Immigration Lawyers Association is reporting that it has been told by the State Department that the government is temporarily suspending the online nonimmigrant visa appointment system and the 900 toll number appointments for ALL nationals of third countries seeking to process visas at border posts. The policy went into effect over this past weekend.

Readers are warned that if they are not a national of the border country where they seek to process a visa, they may end up stranded outside the US.

The State Department indicated that it was notifying people with appointments to postpone their trips.

The State Department is taking this step in the wake of its recent decision to hold visa petitions for applicants from a number of Arab and Muslim countries for up to 20 days. However, this policy covers ALL applicants and not just Arab and Muslim applicants.

The State Department needs to consult with the INS to determine how 22 CFR 41.112(d) will be implemented in the wake of the new security policy. 22 CFR 41.112(d) allows certain people with valid I-94s to reenter the US on the original I-94 if they re-enter the US within 30 days. The State Department does not want applicants whose visas are on hold to be able to reenter the US during the hold period until it works out a coordinated policy with the INS.

In the mean time, the State Department is increasing resources to handle applications for visa renewals made from within the United States.

i just made an appointment for visitor visa from internet. i chose b2 for pleasure. but now i know there is b1/b2. can i get the b1/b2 visa(i mean if i can get a visa) that is i change the reason when i go to the ambassy?

签证预约时,会让你选B1,B2或B1/B2,但是只要签给你,就都是B1/B2,所以不用改什么申请.
签证时易时难,和选择时间有关. 最近感恩节前,签证好象较容易,我几个朋友都签出,而且时间都是十年的. 没有必要等一年半,有两个朋友才来了半年多. 现在到圣诞节还有一个月,想去美国的朋友不妨去试试.

-护照,Landing Paper
-申请表,申请费,预约信
-full-time student的证明信,学生证
-loan & bursary的信
-Bank statement
-lease

另外,有没有必要把下学期的学费提前交了,然后把tuition payment的东东带过去?
