To CMA
1) Your wife's case is different, she has north american experience, plus she moves from USA to Canada on a tech job (assuming no difference in system);
2) She has a degree in USA, plus her 1 year experience, employer here will understand that she will be a quality employee, experience is the most important things to stand out, in some cases more important than language;
3) French-Only jobs are normally lower paid in Quebec, of course Bilingual you can have less problems in landing a job here, but it is never that necessary, plus I am very sure there are not a lot of people can claim they are perfectly Bilingual, at most functional;
4) Computer and Accounting are 2 opposite, Actuary is somewhere in the middle, it is not that technical (which race can't play an important role, like in Computer), but it is also less experience and communication (compared with Accounting).
Job market has one simple rule, supply vs demand, if you fit in the map, you can have a job somewhere just keep looking, if you don't, never mind keep trying. Good luck! |
