MONTREAL哪里有中国那种新鲜的的薏米和绿豆卖?如果有打成粉状的也行. 西人的超市好象找不到薏米...  一般英文怎么表达?  谢谢

薏米 = Barley (English)

Believe there are ~3 sizes . . . .  90% supermarkets sell them.  Ask people who work there.

90% supermarkets sell them, u can't find them when u don`t know what u are looking for.  ASK PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE!

95% of 专门卖烘培用品的店 sells them.  In big shopping centre, normally u will find 1 or 2 专门卖烘培用品的店 .

If u live downtown, try the one ~3-5 stores west of the NW corner of St. Catherine and Guy.  Don't think u can find it ~Atwater MTR.

薏仁（拉丁Semen Coicis英文名Coix Seed）又名薏苡仁、苡米、苡仁，土玉米，薏米、起实、薏珠子、回回米、米仁、六谷子。

另外...山药估计只有中国药店有卖了...

做饭团的模子找不到的话，试试保鲜膜包饭团做饭团--可以随意捏

My Web search on "Coix Seed" shows mainly Chinese originated links, mostly 医疗用途.  They don't look like the ones that we eat. I don't know anything about 药用的东东, sorry!

山药 - I've tasted fresh ones from Chinatown, but don't know the English name for it.  Only sold in Chinatown or Vietnamese stores (Jean Talon, etc)

薏米 (食用或酿造啤酒的) = Barley, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barley

绿豆 = Mung Bean (E), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mung_bean

薏米粉+绿豆粉 = Besides Chinese/Vietnamese/Japanese/Korean stores (if they sell them), don't think u can find them in regular store.
