Notre programmation de sorties de plein air interculturel pour l’été 2014 est maintenant disponible. Si vous avez un lieu d’affichage ou des personnes dans votre réseau avec qui partager ces informations, ça serait très apprécié!
  
1.        Randonnée urbaine et conversation sur le mont-Royal les jeudis soirs de 18h à 19h45. Une excellente façon de pratiquer votre anglais et/ou français, tout en profitant de l’été ! 10 sorties dès le 3 juillet. 55$ pour 10 sorties (entre 10$ et 55$ si nouvel arrivant à faible revenu).
2.        Les sorties Montréal à vélo. Découvrir un nouveau parcours chaque lundi soir de 18h à 20h ! 8 sorties à partir du 7 juillet au tarif de 50$ pour les 8 sorties (tarif promotionnel été 2014. Entre 10$ et 50$ si nouvel arrivants à faible revenu).
3.        Initiation au camping, ici à Montréal ! 21-22 juin au canal de Lachine. Tarif spécial pour nouveaux campeurs : 44$ par groupe de 4 personnes, tente (etc.) fournie ! Inscriptions session printemps 2014.
4.        Séjour au camp familial St-Urbain, 20-22 juin, 514.872.0566 pour infos.
5.        Atelier de réparation de vélo, 3555 St-Urbain, 22 juin, 50$. 514.872.0566 pour infos.
6.        Conférence : le plein air pas cher. Gratuite. 26 juin de 19h à 20h30 au MEC Marché central, 8989 bd. de l’Acadie. Soirée membre de l’ARMP (rabais de 10%) ! Inscrivez-vous ici.
7.        Journée de canot et de randonnée à Chertsey (Lanaudière). Venez profiter du beau lac privé et de la belle forêt ! Une sortie et initiation au canot, baignade et rando. 12 juillet toute la journée. 25$ (entre 10$ et 25$ si nouvel arrivant à faible revenu). Animation, canots, accès au site inclus. Transport par covoiturage en sus.
8.        Initiation au canot-camping. Haute rivière rouge, Laurentides. Nous allons descendre une section calme, sauvage et magnifique de cette rivière pendant 2 jours, en autonomie totale, en campant au milieu. Venez vivre cette expérience inégalée dans la nature, et apprendre comment organiser ce genre de sortie. 8-10 août (départ le 8 août vers 15h). 205$ (185$ si nouvel arrivant), incluant le matériel de camping, canot, guide, navette etc. Covoiturage et repas communautaires en sus.

The summer programming of Intercultural Outdoor Recreation activities is now available. Please feel free to forward this within your network and/or post the attached poster. Thanks!
  
1.      Urban hiking and conversation, Thursday evenings from 6 – 7:45 pm on the Mountain. A GREAT way to practice French and/or English while enjoying the summer! Our summer session (10 weeks) starts July 3. The cost is $55 for 10 outings ($10 - $55 low-income newcomers to Canada).
2.      Montreal by Bike! 8 outings to different parks/neighbourhoods on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm. Join us for the season or come try it out once. Our summer outings start July 7 and the cost is $50 for 8 outings (summer promotion! Between $10 - $50 low-income newcomers to Canada).
3.      Learn to camp here in Montreal! June 21-22. Registrations now happening (spring session)! Tent included… Special price of $44 for a group of up to 4 people who are new to camping!
4.      Trip to the Camp familial St-Urbain (Lanaudière), June 20-22. 514.872.0566 for info.
5.      Bike repair workshop. June 22, 3555 St-Urbain, $50. 514.872.0566 for info.
6.      Presentation – Outdoor Recreation on a Budget. Free. Will be given in French. June 26 from 7 – 8:30 pm at MEC Marché central (8989 boulevard de l’Acadie). ARMP members can get a 10% discount at MEC during this evening. Please sign up here.
7.      A day of canoeing, hiking and swimming in the Lanaudière region! July 12. Beginners welcome. Come enjoy the pristine, private lake and beautiful forest trails. Bring a picnic. $25 ($10 - $25 low-income newcomers to Canada). Site access, canoes and guide included. Carpooling is extra.
8.      Introduction to Canoe-Camping! Join us for 2 days of adventure and learning as we paddle down the calm, wild and gorgeous Upper Rouge River in the Laurentians. We’ll be totally self-sufficient, bringing everything we need to camp and paddle in our canoes with us. Learn how to organize this kind of extraordinary outing! August 8-10 (leaving Montreal at 3 pm on Aug. 8). $205 including camping gear, canoes, shuttle, guides. ($185 newcomers to Canada). Carpooling and communally-prepared meals are extra.
