If you have a "reasonable" reason, it is better to tell. If you donot have, you donot need "specially" explain the reason why only one of your parents coming here. But you have to let the officer know that issue. Only one of your parents coming can make officer believe that he/she will have to go back in time.Good luck!

请问现在申请Parents的材料，好象有点变化，原来只要复印的公民证或者护照就可，现在是不是一定要公证过的。下面有人成功拿到VISA，说用的TRUE COPY， 是指公证过的身份证吗？
而且现在好像也不要关系证明了和无犯罪证明了，是这样吗？有成功的请指教。

Beware that you only have 30 days to buy visitor insurance for your parents after their arrivals. So it is better to search and buy in advance if you plan to.

It does not matter! Bank statements also work. The employee letter is not a "must". It is a "better" document.

It tells that your parents have to depart from china in three months. When your parents arrive Canada Voncouver, the officer will stamp a blue stamp on that visa and do not show how long they can stay in Canada because blue color stamp represents six months. So the officer in Voncouver decides how long they can stay in canada.

They must sigh in their own application form. Search canada beijing or shanghai website for detail instructions. Sinoquebec said filling one form is not right.
