' h$ d* x$ z. b; n* vI moved to Vancouver 6 months ago with a company relocation package, so far I am impressed and happy to live in BC. Basically you have to live where you can find a job and make a living, in Montreal French is not necessorily the only quality you are missing, I personally know a lot of people making good money in Montreal, and over 80% of them speak little or even no French at all..
