对于没有太阳卡的人，看个急诊，光注册就要近400加元，更别说打个针，开个药，住个院了。

8 A$ `/ j) {  B* F3 w2 eIf your visa longer than 6 months, you can apply medical card, but you will have not the medician insurance if you are not immigration.

This case is very suitable for Post-doc.

In addition, I contact with BlueCross. The rep. told me that there are only 30 days for visitors to buy insurance after their arrival in canada. After 30 days, no insurance available!

Does somebody else care about the topic? It is very important. Do not take chance! A small ill will cost us thousants and a severs one will put us into the hell!
