I have been to that page before. It is a converter from VGA card to TV circuit. If I understand correctly, it is a circuit that enable you to replace a monitor by a TV. So that you do not need to buy a monitor and just use your TV as a monitor when you buy a PC.

Anyway, it is possible that you can make a PAL->NTSC converter by yourself. But I won't list it as an alternative because DIY is not viable for most people. For instance, I do not have the facility who can make a PCB for me.

Went to futureshop tonight and they told me all the vcr here are NTSC format and there is no multimode vcr. :confused:

I searched the user's manual of my TV thoroughly and it isn't mentioned a single word on NTSC or PAL, so I am not sure the mode of my TV. The only thing I know is it can show both DVD and VCD but sometimes I have to use the remote control of my DVD player to change the 制式。
