各位老移民：
我的护照到8月就要到期了。而到6月底我已经有资格申请
公民。听说申请期要4个月左右。这样我申请时没问题，可是到面试是我的护照已经过期2个多月了。
我的问题是：到那时，我可不可以仍然出示这本过期的护照。
如果我必须延期护照。请问如何办理经济，方便。

If your passport's effective time is less than 6 months, basically no country will accept your visa application. So to speak, your passport has virtually expired. You'd better extend it otherwise you will have trouble in using it, because it's practically unreasonable to get your citizenship for only 4 months. (now my friend wait for more than 6 months after submitted but still nothing coming out)
