I haven't read your post in detail yet, don't have much time now, but believe u need:

- insulate your cold water pipe(s) (hardware stores sell them, sty-ro-foam), or# O% x4 Z1 Z: d' t
- heating "wire" to wrap your cold water pipe(s). (The ELECTRIC orange big "wire" will heat up AUTOMATICALLY when temparature drops to certain degree)1 R% ]" i2 o% v& q0 B

Check your water pipes, where it could be cold, use 1 of the above. Go to any hardware store (Canadian Tire/Reno/Home Depot/etc), they will show u. 4 t: w+ [7 _) T/ K- `0 S' Y) H

I've never seen it myself, heard of people wrapping cold and hot water pipes together to "share heat", if that is your case, u need to separate them and your cold water pipe definitely need heating.
