My husband got his Citizenship last week. It took us around 18 months.

8 J2 g" K* x3 Y8 @% O+ n7 lAfter 19 months' waitting, I finally got the notice to write the citizenship test on May 5th. I hope you got it too.

To mapletree:

2 w6 T3 O* O! F$ s' mIn the notice, it is said "if you pass the test and if your application is approved, you will take the Oath of Citizenship and recieve the Canadaian citizenship certificate immediately after. So it is to say, you will do the test and take the Oath on the same day.

I'm still waiting, looks like i will break the record !!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

I think, this is because Quebec does not need us to become Canadian Citizenship.
while we are Federate Immigrants?????????

I have a firend who apply from Ontario, Just 3 Months.

That's made me crazy.

I submitted my application in Sept. 2002. Cheers! Today I just received a letter inviting me to write the citizenship test. So be patient you guys out there. I'm glad I'll be able to vote in the coming federal election.
