UK DIQIUREN TV New episode—“Halloween Special” on line now! Each year October 31th is a western traditional festival - Halloween ! October 31th was the eve of the Celtic new year. The Celts were the ancestors of the present-day Irish, Welsh and Scottish people. On this day ghosts walked and mingled with the living, or so the Celts thought. The townspeople baked food all that day and when night fell they dressed up and tried to resemble the souls of the dead. Hoping that the ghosts would leave peacefully before midnight of the new year.

Halloween always mentioned of some mysterious affairs and stories, and the long-historical city london also has a lot of ghost stories. This time two pretty and brave girls Vicky and Shirley will explore with us. GO! LET’S GO!

每年的10月31日的万圣节（Halloween）是西方传统节日，最初由来自爱尔兰的移民于19世纪传入。当晚小孩会打扮成鬼怪，挨家挨户收集糖果。

万圣节起源于爱尔兰的传统节日，他们相信10月31日是夏天的终结，冬天的开始，这一天是一年的重要标志。在认为万圣节是鬼魂世界最接近人间的时间，在这一天各种恶鬼出没，死去人们的灵魂也会离开身体，在世间游走。这一天的晚上也就格外危险，为了吓走邪恶的鬼魂，人们都会戴上面具打扮成鬼怪模样，今恶鬼误会他们是 “自己人”。

后来天主教的传教士为了压制这种被他们视为异端的传统，就把这一天之后的11月第一天定为万圣节，纪念天主教的圣人们，希望以此打压这些鬼怪观念，所以说是先有鬼节，后有万圣节。

万圣节通常都与灵异的事物联系起来，而历史悠久的伦敦也的确流传很多的鬼故事，这一集两位既漂亮而且天不怕地不怕的主持人 Vicky 和 Shirley 会和大家一起探险。
