要说经验无外乎多找几个公证师对比一下价钱，（对不起我上次发言说成律师），他们都有现成的文件，也不算复杂，只是按照你的意愿分配你的财产罢了。

3年前我做遗嘱公证的费用好象是200$(因为当时还同时做了其他3项公证,有点记不清楚了).供你参考.

I've mine done ~15 years ago:
-  by 律师, not by 公证师, less chance in any problem.  Might have been a bit more expensive, but not that much.
-  "公证师认证的遗嘱当然是政府注册的；而且经公证师认证的遗嘱不会有遗产纠纷"  should be OK.
- "他们(both 律师+公证师)都有现成的文件，也不算复杂，只是按照你的意愿分配你的财产罢了。"  - that's exactly the PROBLEM.  Do your search on web, SAMPLE documentSS available for download to help u to write up DETAILS.
- "遗产税应该是多少 . . . " = NON per my 会计师, ~15 years ago.  Good chance government will change that.

I've download documents for friends few months ago.  If I've done that for my will, I would have more detailed instructions such as who'll organize my funeral, estate ?(~responsible person), etc.  I've trashed those files.

Reminder to singles -  anytime u get marry, your WILL will be voided.  Apparently, laws in Quebec is different from other provinces.  Sorry, I don't know details.

Welcome to Canada. WILL is only for peace of mind in case of anything happens. A friend almost got killed by a car when riding bycycle in summer.
