Friends,

I've been lurking in this forum to follow the right path which should rock my career. And i hope i will achieve it. I've completed my Engineering in COMPUTERS and would like to opt the best track to follow. But definitely, i need your opinions , experiences and advises to help me follow the right track.

I have decided to go in the COMPUTER NETWORKING field but as seen on MONSTER and WORKOPOLIS the Jobs for networking field are as TECHNICIAN or ADMINISTRATOR. I would like to be called an ENGINEER anyways , say for e.g  COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER OR NETWORKING ENGINEER.

Could anybody here recommend any Master's level degree which could enhance my skills in the NETWORKING OR TELECOMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY.

I have been searching also by myself and found that Concordia offers M.Eng(Computer and Electrical) so i need to know if there are any people doing their Master's in Electrical and they might have idea what subjects to get to be a Computer Networking or Tele-Communications expert.

Thanks playjoke. As expected, you are the first one to give me useful information.

My point is this that getting a Job as NETWORK TECHNICIAN and NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR , you need not to hold an Engineering degree . Bachelor's degree in any discipline or some kind of post-secondary education with sufficient networking knowledge(like A.E.C) plus some certifications will give him the same Job which an Engineer can have with the same salary. Even if the Engineer spent around 4-5 years to get his degree, he is still at the same level as does the other person.

That's why i would like to have some information about the Master's degree(IN MONTREAL OR TORONTO  say for e.g) in TELECOMMUNICATIONS(Wireless or any other) to have a good salary and to be unique in terms of degree and knowledge. And i think most of the networking knowledge applies to get a Master's degree in Tele-communications, so it won't be difficult, i think.

And see, your friend is unique and getting a handsome salary but how did he enter into the Tele-communications field? Did he do any other courses or programs related to Tele-communications after completing his B.E? Can you provide me some useful information on this playjoke?

ITS GOOD THAT YOU DIDN'T APPLY FOR YOUR P.Hd otherwise you would definitely be a LOOSER AND FAILURE WITH SUCH BAD MEMORY.

I WAS READING YESTERDAY THE BOOK "UNIVERSITY OF SUCCESS" BY AN AMERICAN AUTHOR AND IN ONE CHAPTER IT SAYS THAT " ONE SHOULD AVOID TALKING TO PEOPLE WHO GET THEIR CONFIDENCE DOWN" AND NOW I UNDERSTAND THAT THE AUTHOR WAS TALKING ABOUT YOU.

Its not only the word TIRED but so many things in your email that made me loose my patience right away. Go and read your 2 responses and you will realize that.

I have never become rude to you before, all the time APPRECIATING and THANKING to your replies. Didn't you notice that?

And why did you say so many rude things to me? If you are TIRED than simply DON'T REPLY but alteast you SHOULD NOT DISHEART somebody with your words.

There will be so many people here who will keep posting their queries and will be seeking help from people who are professional and have some experience but if you  will continue giving this type of  replies like you have given, this forum will be dead and nobody will feel happy to seek help from this forum.
