Gaspe – Perce 3 Days Tour

   

   
Day 1 (August 30th, 2008):
Depart from Concordia University the Main Entrance (1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West, Montréal QC, H3G 1M8) at 6:30 a.m. Upon arrival we will have lunch in Rimouski. Then we will visit the Museum of the Mer (The Pointe-au-Pere Lighthouse National Historic Site of Canada) where you can enjoy the panoramic view from the 2nd tallest light house in Canada. Also you can learn about navigation, the history of exploration of the sea floor, the history about the Empress pf Ireland Sank, and much more. Last we will finish our fantastic day with Campbellton which is the world’s largest Salmon plaza. Hotel: Comfort Inn

Day 2 (August 31th, 2008):
After breakfast, we will drive to Perce. Upon arrival, we will take a cruise to the one of the largest and most accessible bird sanctuaries in the world with more than 280.000 birds - Bonaventure Island - during one hour boat tour we will have a chance to see different species of birds including the Northern Gannet, the Black-legged Kittiwake, Seagulls, Auks, and much more. Around 14:30 p.m we will leave for Forillon National Park to discover the flora, geological formations, and the astonishing fauna of this land complete with natural riches. After supper, we will settle in hotel. Hotel: Commandant Hotel

Day 3 (September 1, 2008):
Depart for Montréal at 7:00 a.m. On the way back, we will stop at Cap-Chat Eole which you will find part of the biggest windmill park in Canada with 76 windmills producing electricity commercially. We will arrive at Montréal around 21:30 p.m.
