Organic Synthesis
If you are a great Intellectual Property Research Scientist with great Patent experience, please read on!
Experience:
<li> 5 years postgraduate industrial or academic experience in organic synthesis related to the pharmaceutical industry is required
<li> Experience in patent searches, patent evaluation, patent writing and/or other IP related activities is also required.
<li> Excellent communication skills in oral and written English are required.
<li> Good knowledge of oral and written French is preferred.
Excellent skills in the analysis and synthesis of information/data. Autonomous.
<li>
Duty:
<li> Responsible for the complete investigation and analysis of the intellectual property (IP) surrounding selective active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), to make recommendations for non-infringement and/or patent generating IP strategies, and to implement such strategies.
<li> Conduct worldwide patent searches in order to establish the intellectual property surrounding selected API/product opportunities
<li> Evaluate the innovator versus generic API patent landscape for analysis of competitiveness advantage
<li> Provide scientific/IP support for strategic recommendations of API manufacturers
<li> Make recommendations on opportunities for non-infringement and/or patent generating IP opportunities in connection with APIs.
