The position is responsiblefor daily operational IT tasks required to maintain a mid-size network ofusers, servers and services.
Responsibilities:

- Be the first point of contact for technical assistance over the phone or email k4 C/ u7 c4 g' l, o: ^) ~
- Daily operational tasks for internet facing infrastructure (HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, FTP, Exchange)! I, U" Y9 p7 H& o- {6 h3 i
- Daily operational tasks for adding and removing DNS records, Shares, SSL certificates, Firewall rules, Domain users and groups (Microsoft Active Directory)
8 i; T" ]- _% f$ m5 R! g& p+ _ - Manage devices including PCs, user services, Windows and Linux servers for a production telecom network
: n& Q& {2 \; W3 B5 i9 A/ q - Adding monitoring of servers and processes using the monitoring system
5 o" j- |7 G# P2 h - Managing operational processes related to Microsoft 365 admin center - Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint& m0 @- w A# Q3 Q; ]; V2 `9 p
- Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support% r) f6 f# E" t; l: d; T* k
- Following best security practices, firewall and Anti-virus (BitDefender)3 y% z; b7 q S5 T2 C; C
- VPN user addition & troubleshoot issues- y: y) @$ c- j: j8 i' C
- Troubleshooting server/workstation/network issues
0 s# N* n0 \, O0 S - Ticket review and escalation to other departments or third parties for support: m2 ^+ A' S4 z0 L+ P
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel+ H% F; h# X* a9 N! g! x' l2 ~3 j
- Manage/Renew SSL certificates, Servers warranty, MS365 Reports, load balancers5 g1 n. j% F) u9 p9 x
- Manage Local virtualization platforms (ESXi/XenCenter/Proxmox) and Online virtualization platform (Azure/ AWS) familiar with management UI and related tools (Cloud PowerShell). F7 ]* q" e0 M
- Inventory management and documentation" T% i8 @7 d- P$ p# T" h
Qualifications:
* n7 v \; C1 q% d. O - Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux in a business environment' R# z( u1 {* F" p4 n! g
- Strong Troubleshooting skills with a strong passion for learning new skills and technologies
; W1 C# K# G( q x0 b - Advanced knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS, Debian, RHEL)
. }' @1 q; T/ N. w8 O: N; n - Advanced knowledge of services such as DNS, HTTPS, SMTP and FTP0 X# S8 t! O s: e: w" t, E
- Advanced knowledge of firewalls, VPN and VLAN and subnetting.
0 H3 [9 _+ b8 v a2 o m/ S9 S - Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols8 K8 `! i! d0 @& H8 {
- Knowledge of MS365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Dynamics3654 y; c8 \$ j: d8 U0 C& V+ O M
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS (Dell EMC Powerstore/Compellent, QNAP)
. p+ v, U' G6 ^- j - Advanced knowledge of Xen & VMWare virtual clustering environment an asset.) ~8 O* E$ ^0 d' V: E# v" s
- Advanced understanding of IT architectures and technologies
' |1 ` ~2 b- M4 U - Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, PowerShell)
# Q! `, Q4 r1 e$ _' [ - Experience with Zabbix monitoring systems or similar
" @4 H( i- Y! ` - Good experience with Microsoft Active directory6 \; Q4 D; O) Y& M5 P
- Experience with Docker, OpenVPN is considered an asset
& W5 o# t* j6 E - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written. 1 C# _# i+ }- X& c; k
- Excellent skills at writing documentation and diagrams# `- r& a ]$ p# T- T' L/ e) D
- Good English written and spoken a must.- U/ i: m2 p9 G6 S( O3 ^4 L3 S# H
