He/She will ensure that all translations are in line with SSENSE guidelines and quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses an excellent command of Simplified Chinese, meticulous attention to detail, and a keen interest in fashion. & Z4 W# I* k; o5 u- v" I* p# _4 \" i9 y/ G2 a2 Z( `6 @3 p
RESPONSIBILITIES ( |" U. k$ J) lTranslate product information, designer biographies, and marketing copy in line with SSENSE terminology) x4 r0 u. ]. t. U/ I- ~
Monitor, maintain and update the terminology guidelines to ensure copy is consistent and accurate: ^2 U! Q1 M2 Q' A
Ensure weekly KPI targets are consistently met and tracking tools are updated daily & v$ K0 u3 c8 NMaintain rigorous standards of quality control4 L. D9 |, v7 i6 W" I. C. q, M
Work closely with the Mandarin and other language teams in performing various translation assignments for the company as required) }1 Y. A2 g9 K% k3 N+ L

Bachelor’s degree in Translation% a* u/ q$ w- E# z) R2 f+ J1 e/ Z
A minimum of 2 years translation experience, preferably in a fashion or e-commerce environment8 J' E3 l9 ]. D
Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Mandarin; G5 M+ L1 t7 G3 a# L
Mastery of simplified Chinese grammar, spelling and usage including the ability to craft culturally-sensitive texts ) A3 }$ E& h: `* sStrong command of fashion terminology7 z: h: K1 c% w; A& B
