                 (Restaurant managementexperience preferable)
Credentials:                            Safe Food Handling certificate; Smart Serve
Job duties:
The Cacao70 Manager is responsible for overall management in allaspects of a restaurant’s operation in order to ensure that the standard of Cacao70around people, product, cleanliness and an Exceptional Guest Experience arefulfilled.  The Manager is required toassist in sustaining, directing, and increasing sales growth and profit levelsand report to owners
Recruitment of new team members, training and developing existing teammembers
Planning and working to budgets, maximizing profits and achieving salesand transaction targets including control of Food/Paper/Labour costs in therestaurant
Monitor the reports of supplier orders, building maintenance andcleanliness from assistant manager and supervisors
In compliance with applicable legislation including, food safety,health and safety, and employment standards
To enforce and comply with pre-established Cacao70 operating procedures
Resolves guest complaints and turns potentially negative situationsinto positive ones
Communicates with all shifts on day to day operations and to ensureadequate coverage on all shifts
Enforces employee compliance in regard to the restaurant’s foodstandard, hygienic and safety policies and procedures
Job Requirements - Skills requirements:
Previous restaurant management experience (minimum 1 year)
Post-secondary education (business management studies an asset)
Food safety training certifications; Food Handler Certificate
Proven leadership and problem solving skills
Driven and focused. Passion for people and service excellence
Ability to inspire, motivate and develop people through previous formalleadership training
Working knowledge of POS systems
