I have not bad rackets and real feather shuttlecocks.
At Gym of UMontreal, it costs you about $10 for one time. However, it's much cheaper if you take part in the club (forget the exact cost).
Anyway, it's free for students of UMontreal and its alliances

I think it difficult to find free indoor field.
You can buy the membership card from the sports center of University of Montreal. With this card, you can enjoy any active you like, such as badminton, volleyball, basketball,wallball,swimming, recreation. However it's a little expensive, $146 for 4 months and $ 280 for one year.

It costs about $80 for family (two adults and one child)in Saint-Laurent area from Sep. to April every year.You have serevel indoor places to choose.One of them is close to Metro cote-vertu.It will cost more if you are not residents of saint-laurent.

For those looking to play badminton. Here are two relatively cheap clubs to go to. There are some Chinese players there.

NDG Badminton Club : downtown near Atwater, about 150$ per year. Two nights per week.
7-9pm. Levels A, B, C.
Season starting around mid September

Layola Campus :
STarting mid-September.
about 2$ per visit, or 25$ per year, once
per week Sunday 7.30pm-10pm. Levels A, B, C.

The NDG Club season starts tonight from 7-9pm. The location is the gym of the Sacred Heart Girl Provate School at the junction of Doctor Penfield Street and Cote des Neiges. If you are from downtown you can walk up from Sherbrooke Street along Cote des Neiges on the west side. It is located below the Montreal General hospital. Email Pierre : matrac@cam.org for precise location. I think the fees are like this :
first trial visit : free
subsequent visit: 6$ per visit
or $150 per year. See you all there.
Layola Recreation badminton will start soon.

Loyola Campus Gym is located on Sherboorke Street West, take bus 105 from Vendome Metro and get off in front of the Loyola Campus. The gym is located next to the football field. You won't miss it. Again, it is from 7.30-10.30pm.

Highly suggest: the master of this website collect up the useful info on the Gym and Courts and their costs and put them in FAQ. It's much more convinient for anyone to search and organize games!!

To downstairs several guys who play badi in McGill: would you guys make an e-mail list so that when anyone of you want to do it, we got to be apprised too. You know the schedule for badi in gym is so unstable at weekend, even no arrangement at all sometimes. It is hard to keep tracking it on always from website.
I am a new comer. Just want to be involved in kinda "club", not too formal. Go with fun, right? So far, I have not got anyone surrounding me who play badi in McGill Gym. (I am in CHEE)
